Agra Metro — GPR Utility Survey

A geophysical survey was conducted along the proposed Agra Metro corridor to locate subsurface utilities to a depth of 5 m ahead of construction.

Using a GSSI SIR-4000 control system with a 400 MHz antenna, our team surveyed roughly 400 metres along the alignment, cross-checking anomalies and marking utility locations with DGPS. The survey identified 28 utilities at depths ranging from shallow cover to 1.3 m, giving the project team a clear picture of what lies beneath the corridor before excavation.
